In January 2007, XPMsoftware will begin public trials of PerfectMail virtual machines based on VMware's
virtualization technology including VMware ESX™, VMware Server™ and VMware Player™.
You are invited to sign up for this public beta program. Registration is free and is open to all
interested parties (so please pass along this web page to your friends and associates).
As a participant in our PerfectMail Virtual Appliance public beta program, you will receive:
- A pre-configured PerfectMail Virtual Appliance on DVD ready to install on your hardware
- A no cost, unlimited use license for your PerfectMail virtual machine good for the duration of the
trial.
- Access to support during the Beta trial period.
- A bug reporting and tracking system.
- The opportunity to influence the development of a superior antispam solution.
- Discounts on PerfectMail virtual appliance licenses at the end of the trial.

Terms And Conditions
By participating in the PerfectMail Virtual Machine public beta trial, you agree to be bound by the
following terms and conditions:
- You will receive your serial number and activation code by e-mail. Consequently, you must provide a working
e-mail address to participate in this program.
- You will receive a DVD with PerfectMail software on it. Consequently, you must provide us with a valid
postal address in order to participate in this trial.
- You may make copies of your PerfectMail DVD for friends and associates. However, your license may
not be shared with others.
- You accept all liability for any results you experience using PerfectMail beta software. You
specifically agree that XPMsoftware will not be held liable for any damages, however caused, as a
result of using our software.
- You agree to protect our intellectual property. You will not de-compile, disassemble or otherwise
try to reverse engineer our product. You also agree not to use our product for any purpose other than
that for which it was intended (antispam filtering).
- You agree that, at the end of the Beta trial, you will either stop using the PerfectMail virtual
appliance or will acquire a valid license to continue to run the virtual appliance.
- Support will be on a best effort basis only unless other arrangements between yourself and
XPMsoftware are made in advance. Specifically, XPMsoftware makes no representations that it will
respond in a fixed period of time or that it will respond at all.
- XPMsoftware makes no representations that any feedback, suggestions, etc. will be used in the final
product.
- You agree that all communications, ideas, suggestions, etc. you provide to XPMsoftware become the
exclusive property of XPMsoftware and that you waive all rights to ideas, suggestions or other
communications you provide to XPMsoftware during the course of the Beta trial.
- The PerfectMail beta trial may end at any time without notification.
- At the end of the PerfectMail beta trial, you agree to remove PerfectMail
from your systems within 7 days notification or acquire a permanent license to
run PerfectMail. If you do not delete PerfectMail and do not acquire a
permanent license, you agree that XPMsoftware may disable PerfectMail without
notice to you. You agree to accept all responsibility for any outcome if
XPMsoftare disables your PerfectMail Beta license after the end of the Beta
trial.
- You agree to accept e-mails from XPMsoftware throughout the trial. This includes but is not limited to
e-mails regarding the Beta trial, our monthly newsletter and other e-mails that may be of interest. You can opt
out of our e-mail blasts at any time.
- These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
